I am an artist, poet, and gallery director of The Copper Wolf. I love exploring mythological symbolism and the wonders of human and non-human nature through my work, especially the integration of the physical, psychological and spiritual realms. I am fascinated by the lands and cultures of the world, often drawing from my time in the colorful jungles of Mexico, the enchanted forests of Washington, and the timeless plazas of Spain. Through examining and expressing my inner experience, I hope to inspire others to forge their own paths with curiosity, creativity, and compassion.

With an educational background in Exercise Physiology and Psychology, I am also a registered Hatha Yoga instructor and love combining these interests to create courses and workshops focused on holistic wellness, creativity and intuitive empowerment.

I see artistic expression as an extension of my ever-evolving spiritual path, or a symbol-based attempt to connect to something beyond myself. I hope to create layered works of depth that continue to reveal their meaning long after I’ve finished them, thus allowing me to discover my own essence as a creative human consciousness under the shifting identities that make up my personality. Georgia O’Keeffe summed it up best when she said “Making your unknown known is the important thing.” For me, art in all of its forms is a way to explore the previously unseen, pulling at threads until something solid enough to visualize emerges but still carries the mystery of its origin.
